Google's database of entities (people, places, organizations, things) and the relationships between them. Powers the right-side panel and AI Overviews.
The Knowledge Graph is what allows Google to display a "Knowledge Panel" for a brand, person, or place — the box on the right side of search results with summary information.
Earning a Knowledge Panel means Google recognizes your business as a distinct entity. The path: complete Organization schema, sameAs to authoritative profiles, citations across the web, and Wikipedia or Wikidata entry if eligible.
