Refund Policy

The guarantee, in plain language

If the audit does not surface at least one fix worth more than the $999 fee, the audit fee is refunded in full.

The standard for "worth more than the audit fee" is your reasonable judgment. We do not adjudicate the value calculation. If you read the report and conclude it does not pay for itself, you tell us and we refund.

How to request a refund

1. Email levi@showupseo.com within 14 days of audit delivery.
2. Include the audit subject line and a one-line reason. Detailed feedback is welcome but not required.
3. We respond within 2 business days. If accepted, the refund processes via the original payment method within 5 business days. Total turnaround under 1 week.

What we ask in return

If you request a refund, we ask one favor: a brief reply with what you expected versus what you got. We use this to improve. No refund is conditioned on this feedback.

What is not refundable

• Audits delivered more than 14 days prior — at that point you have had ample time to review and act on the findings.
• Implementation outcomes — the audit is diagnosis, not execution. Whether you act on the findings determines what changes. We do not refund based on ranking or revenue results, only on whether the diagnostic itself was worth more than the fee.
• Custom work or follow-up engagements — these are scoped separately with their own terms.

Pre-delivery termination

If you change your mind before the audit is delivered, we refund the full fee. If we have already begun work, we may retain a portion proportional to time invested, capped at 25%. We tell you in advance if this applies before charging.

If we cannot deliver the audit (technical issue, scheduling conflict, or material change in scope), we refund the full fee.

Why this policy exists

Audits are intangible. The buyer has no way to verify quality before purchase. The refund guarantee exists so the buying decision is closer to risk-free than it otherwise would be.

The guarantee has been in place since founding and has not been invoked. We expect to keep it that way by writing reports the buyer pays attention to.
